Gradually morning time became cool nowadays, but It has been high temperature before, so need to concern circumstance of planting.
Memory of hot summer in 2010 is still new, and that caused damage (flower quality, cutting time etc).
2012 in areas and month was same or even higher than 2010. (there are also cooler area than usual)
Under mentioned is Monthly average temperature in major production area, by data from meteorological agency.

Climate that average temperature is over 25 degrees must be quite difficult circumstance to lily grows.　Short stem even with pre-rooting, flower faces down by high temp and humidity, flower color fade out etc, we got consult.

In August and September, temperature difference in 4 place except Sapporo was within just 1.1℃, 0.5℃, which is not big. (we often see this recent years)
Some forcers equipped air conditioner to cool down in the night. That improvement made 1-2℃ lower had been effective.

Now we are making report about mid-summer test result, pass you soon.
Extended pre-rooting of Oriental OT secure the enough height in July- August in Kochi, and LA was very interested result. Hope it be good reference.

Introduction of late forcing test
We planted NL crop 2011 and SH 2012 LA, Asiatic in middle of September, also SH 2012 Oritental OT will be planted in middle of October.
It’s still high temperature in daytime, early ones start showing buds.
