In 1955 the founder of Nakamura Noen; Mr.Toshimichi Nakamura started handling bulbs on a small scale, while growing flowers. He was going to supply good bulbs and to be a close and useful bulb supplier to flower growers. Nowadays we could fortunately grow into one of the biggest importers of lily bulbs in Japan. We thank you very much for kind support to many customers and the persons concerned for more than a half century.

　Until now, we have tried many challenges, succeeding his starting spirit and developing it. For example, the first import of PQ free NL lily bulbs, introduction of pre-rooting system to Japanese forcers, SH bulbs, website, a plant to crush empty crates to recycle, self-generators for emergency, a test greenhouse, Lily Festa, the newest model cold-warm storage, etc. Our history is the history of a realization of the forcers’ requests and hints. We’d like to continuously listen to customers’ voices seriously and to look at things from the customers’ point of view, now and later.

　On the other hand, recently we are trying to change our thinking and our company’s roll. “ Bulb dealer +α” it means that, we will import good quality bulbs first, then add them something to make them better, keep them in the best condition to maintain their utmost ability, and study more and improve how to grow flowers later on, etc. We will work more technically like a “manufacturer”. The average age of our staff is 31, and we haven’t had enough experience yet, so we are still on the way to grow, or we are just starting good job. We hope to be successful together with customers in near future.

　Japanese economy has been dull for a long time, and our nation is struggling
to recover from the disaster of the earthquake. Even if we face any difficulties, we must keep on the target “More smiles with more flowers” to go onward.
