Lily selection Mak Breeding ’t Zand

Facts
2007

4,5 hectare
2 million unique lily stems
Selection from 1% = 20.000 bulbs. Mak need to dig out by hand.

2008

They we’ll plant the 20.000 bulbs into the greenhouse.
Another selection of 1% = 200 bulbs
Scrub of the selection of 200 possible winners.

2009~2010
