Tetsuya Kawakami
Thank you for your usual cooperation and treatment.
Now I am staying in Holland and continue investigating as you may know in a recent report “Business trip to Holland (2007/11/24)”.
At present, I am a staff of checking bulbs (quality control) on arrival with senior’s advice and order in Onings. (Picture)
I put sample cases on the conveyer belt, that are picked out from each lots. And check a lot of items, such as sizes, double noses, rotten scales・penicillium and mite etc.
Normally we could see only packed cases when bulbs arrive in Japan, now I can have a great experience by checking bulb condition in naked closely.
I would like to report about two points that you may be better to know.
1.Long sprout of LA・LO
As we expected, they have high sprout generally. I can see a tip of sprout from some varieties slightly (Birgi, Dazzle, Diabolo, Birindisi, Tresor etc.) .
This kind of bulbs will be no problem if we will not keep it in cooling storage longly, and also it will be advantageous to you to use them in early forcing. We would like to deliver them in best condition according to your delivery day.
2.Arrival Oriental smoothly
Generally the weather is so fine in this harvest season, and harvesting seems to be going very well. Exporters receive counted bulbs by growers one after another. They have already received about 90% of LA・Asiatic, and from now on they will receive Oriental.
I will continue investigating after moving to grower company. Please looking forward for it!
