We JFTA (Japan Flower bulb Traders’ Assoc.) promote bulb-flowers and give information to support flower growers in Japan. The 5th International Flower Expo; IFEX will be held from Oct. 30th(Thu.) to Nov. 1st(sat.) in Makuhari-Messe nearby Tokyo, JFTA take part in it to have a booth “Japanese Lily Corner”.

In the booth, we promote this year’s Ms. Lily (Ms.Ryoko Hirosue: she made the appearance on movie “Okuribito”, that gained Grand Prix in Montreal World Film Festival, the film is now on throughout Japan, it is very popular.) and theme lily “Casa Blanca” with some beautiful Orientals which were grown in Japan, that should be best quality flowers in the world. We hope demand for Oriental will go up by this promotion.

A flower arranger is Mr. Len Alkemade, very famous Dutch. He will arrange many Orientals to make tall lily towers. The booth must be aggressive, and fantastic.

Also, some designer will demonstrate the newer usage of Orientals in smaller designs on the demo-table. It must be interesting.

We are looking forward to many guests will visit IFEX that is the biggest flower exhibition in Asia, to look at our booth “Japanese lily Corner”.
