Crop 2018SH Sales Varieties (Provisional Information)

The new year has started, and we hope to have your continuous support this year, too.

Herewith we would like to announce the sales varieties of crop 2018SH in the separate sheet. This is based on the application for Japan lot numbers, and I must say that some information might be uncertain, so please consider that this is a provisional version.

For your information, we mentioned out-of-production varieties in the list as well. The number of sales varieties is decreasing, and new varieties are still only little production. It will take more time to get the final result. The sales depression in Asian countries came through, and we hear that the planted quantities in Chile which was arranged after this revelation in North Hemisphere’s summer was decreased. We recommend you checking the varieties which you want to place as the main first.

Please note that there is no yellow LA, and the number of LA varieties is also limited for other colors.

While the import quantity of lily bulbs from SH countries to Japan is decreasing, our market share of SH bulbs in Japan is increasing little by little. We very much appreciate our customers’ support and understanding, and we will keep doing our best to supply better and lower-priced bulbs making the best use of our sales quantity.

Our cooling storages which are specially designed for flower bulbs is another big advantage of ours. This is because not only for quality and convenience reason, but also the cost raise of domestic transport and frozen storage fee. The defrosting service using our warming drawers which keep the appropriate temperature is also useful even in middle of winter* to make the planting schedule stable and to decrease the stress in the primary stage of growth of the lilies.

*The sunshine becomes stronger from January-February in greenhouses, and the temperature in daytime can be high.
